BRINE - commissum is able to identify the current level of vulnerability to the current and emerging range of threats by using its unique Business Vulnerability Index© (BVI) . This has been developed from more than 20 years experience and provides a benchmarking and scanning process that can be used within a single department, typically the IT department, or across the whole enterprise, as the process is an integral part of our Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Management process.

By using the Business Vulnerability Index© (BVI) process, the level of preparedness and maturity levels of Business Continuity Management can be identified. This in turn will provide a roadmap to all organisations of the development and improvement of the total approach to Business Continuity, Business Resilience and Service Protection.

By using a range of potentially more than 2000 entities that covers different vulnerability categories, BRINE - commissum uses the Business Vulnerability Index© to classify the different “Levels of Preparedness” that a department or a company is currently experiencing. This is then used to focus on the area of improvement that will move the level of preparedness to an acceptable level and provides a process for monitoring any changes
